Keep in mind, these are the oils I use for my own issues. YOMV - your oils may vary! Sometimes even my oils vary--I like to switch them up so that my body doesn't get too used to them. Its not a highly scientific reason, but hey, I'm not a scientist and this works for me.
I'm also happy that I can use whichever of the oils I need without fear of harmful chemicals entering my body or undesirable side effects. I can only vouch for doTERRA oils, however, as I trust the integrity of their leadership teams and appreciate the lengths that they go to in order to obtain the highest quality oils in the world.
These are the oils that I personally put on during an average day. I also use the doTERRA OnGuard cleaning concentrate for quick kitchen clean-ups after dinner; the OnGuard laundry detergent; and the OnGuard handsoap on a regular basis. My husband uses a rollerball I've mixed up with Balance and a little Roman Chamomile, which is new to us this month.
First thing in the morning, during my shower, I use a face wash I concocted via the OCM {or Oil Cleansing Method} that I began over a year ago now. I mix a base of fractionated coconut oil with about 20 drops each of lavender, melaleuca, and cedarwood. I was using frankincense instead of cedarwood, but I decided to save my frank for more important things. I experimented with cedarwood and when it worked just as well, I kept using it!
We've both been using the OnGuard toothpaste recently, and we really like it.
Before I leave for work, I use the Whisper women's blend as a kind of perfume on my forearms and behind my ears. Funny story - when I first started with doTERRA over a year ago, Whisper was one of the oils that I was SO EXCITED to get and use...then it arrived and I put it on and decided I couldn't stand the smell. {Let's be real--sometimes it happens!} So I gave that bottle away. Then for some random reason, I ordered it again on my September order and I cannot get enough of the smell! It was the perfect scent to use on our beach vacation and I find I really enjoy it now. I chalk it up to my hormones doing their wonky thing again.
I also take the LLV vitamins before I leave for work, as well as use DDR Prime for my thyroid and a little Rosemary on the bottom of my feet to help me think clearly & remember things at work. Now that I think about it, I should probably carry some Rosemary with me to reapply after lunch...
I've been using DDR Prime directly over my thyroid, but the Lemongrass in it seems really strong to me, so I've started applying it to the base of my big toe on my right foot. I've only been doing that a week or so.
And sometimes I'll rub some other oils to the bottom of my feet, depending. Usually it's OnGuard, just for general wellness & immunity.
I've been adding the Vanilla Trim Shake mix to my coffee that I take to work with me. It has a great flavor and makes my coffee frothy like a latte.
Speaking of hormones, once I'm in the car and usually at the first red light I come to, I grab my bottle of Clary Calm and roll it on the back of my neck. Clary Calm helps balance my hormones & really helps my cycle. I find I am much less of a crazy person when I use it every day. I was using InTune for that {the craziness}, but again, my hormones changed and I ended up being really sensitive to the smell. I find Clary Calm works just as well for me right now.
Once at work, I like to diffuse at least a little something first thing in the morning. This always varies, but OnGuard seems to be a favorite, especially as fall approaches. Today I tried Elevation for the first time and the guys in the office seemed to like it.
I have a keychain full of sample vials that I keep on my purse, so if I feel I need anything during the work day I can grab it.
Once home again, I will use both Vetiver & Serenity to calm myself, de-stress, and help me sleep. I used Lavender for a while, then switched to Vetiver after my mom gave me a sample that lasted for weeks. Right now I'm applying the Serenity to the bottom of my feet and Vetiver behind my ears. Probably in another month or so, I will start applying just the Vetiver to the bottom of my feet.
If I feel an illness coming on, or if someone at work has been sick and spreading germs, I'll rub some extra OnGuard on my feet before bed {before the Serenity}.
This list might seem like lot, but keep in mind, I've been oiling for almost a year now. I started with the Family Physician's Kit and got signed up for the LRP program, which has given me many free products as I earn points, and just added oils as I've seen a need or reason to try them.
There are several new products that were just released at convention that I am excited about trying and sharing with you guys! Keep a look out for that post.
If you're interested in purchasing any of these oils, or others, feel free to shop in my store. I'm always available for questions as well! Happy oiling!
What oils do you use on a regular basis?
{As always, dilute with coconut or olive oil if you have sensitive skin. Test any new oil that you try on a small area of skin first.}
